Our Irish Jewelry Story:
The seeds of our Irish Jewelry vision were sown when I (Linda) was just 18. My grandmother gifted me an Irish Claddagh ring for my milestone birthday. Her own Claddagh was passed down from her grandmother years before, and she wanted to continue the Claddagh legacy in our family. This gift from my grandmother was more than just a beautiful piece of Irish jewelry; it was a symbol of our family values of love, loyalty, and friendship. It was steeped in meaning and emotion, igniting a sense of belonging within me that endures to this day.
Years later, I gave this Claddagh ring to my husband on our wedding day. It represented our bond of love, loyalty, and friendship. He safeguarded it until our eldest daughter reached her 18th birthday. Then, we passed the ring to her, a cherished family tradition. We also gave our youngest daughter, Jennifer, her own Claddagh ring. We dream that these rings will journey through generations, as beloved family heirlooms.

Who We Are & The Origins Of Our Family Business
We are Luke Rafferty and Linda Rafferty (nee Malone), a married couple who established Irish Jewelry Craft in 2022. We are a diverse and authentically Irish online retailer specializing in handcrafted, high-quality Irish and Celtic Jewelry.
Based in Dublin, Ireland, we are a family-run business, with a passion for unique, handmade jewelry steeped in Celtic culture and tradition.
We were both born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, and have ancestral connections throughout the Emerald Isle, including counties Kerry, Donegal, Meath, and Longford. Our family names, Malone and Rafferty, as well as Kennedy and McDevitt, have strong links to Ireland's rich and vibrant heritage.
Connection to Our Irish Countryside
A traditional Irish cottage in county Longford, named 'Greenfield house,' has been in the Malone family, spanning 5 generations now, since 1913.
The Malone family arrived at Greenfield house on Pony and Trap over 100 years ago, on 19th March 1913. Old family records describe the pony and trap turning down the lane towards the cottage, on a day of bitter sleet and snow.
Greenfield House and Garden has remained in the Malone family throughout the years and is steeped in Irish history and heritage. We spend many cherished summer days there with close family and friends.
