Pure 14-karat yellow gold is used as the base of this beautifully stylized item, with flowing trinity knot symbols taking the place of the Claddagh friendship hands that traditionally hold the true love centerpiece in place.
The main heart-shaped gemstone is a 0.62 carat authentic heritage green emerald, accompanied by brilliant-cut diamonds set into the crown and arms of the classic design. The total weight of all 9 diamonds is 0.07 carats.

The Claddagh symbol dates back to Ireland's 17th century when master goldsmith and jeweler Richard Joyce returned home to his childhood sweetheart after 14 years in captivity on the Barbary Coast of North Africa. He created the original design for his future wife with the hands to represent their lifelong friendship, the crown, their loyalty, and the heart, their undying love that conquered all obstacles and brought them together once more.
